It was neither love at first sight nor a promise of a rose garden. Harold was not a knight in shining armor to Tina as she was not the woman of his dreams! At least when they first met...

It was just a fine afternoon, Harold was taking his lunch with his friends after his morning class. They were walking outside the school when they saw Tina walking alone, one of his friends called her because he knew her and asked her to join them to take lunch.

Harold just got interested to know this new girl. Then approach her in the canteen line, he made his first move and offered help to carry her tray, he escorted her to their table and sat in front of her to get the best look. Then he began to ask the girl about things that you usually asked when you're interested to a person. He found out that she is also a working student (Harold started working at 17 while studying), then he is more interested now, well at least that's another reason for him to escort her to work after school. After their lunch he managed to convince her to escort her to work because he claims that he is also going along her way, well she just found out that he doesn't even know how to go back where he came from. Before he left he make it sure that she would have lunch with him the next day. It was when they first met.

On April 27, 1992 after several months of pursuing and convincing he finally got the Donut! Well he was able to convince her to accept his fine offer, but both agreed that there would be no commitments yet.

They were few months on steady but they really tried to hide the relationship. They are both convinced that it was just another hype and things will not work out, and no one knew that they are on steady. They even hide on both of their friends and really tried to keep it secret. They even have a secret meeting place outside the school (cheap Dunkin Donuts). But one day one of Harold's friend saw them after watching a movie. He was greening and even waved his hand before he left. The two cannot deny it because they were so close to each other under that umbrella while it was raining.

I think the two finally got serious, they even lasted for seven years and they're not even hiding the relationship anymore. In fact, they have just decided to tie the knot. Whew! Finally! (As what all they're friends say) after all the story just getting more interesting.
